Job Descriptions:
Risk Management
-Reporting to the Head of Compliance & Risk functions and ensuring that the quality of mandates, credit applications and other credit submissions are up to company risk regime;
-Maintaining credit quality and standards of professionalism for the risk function
Ensuring credit related issues be timely addressed by necessary suggestions for rectifications;
-Participating in providing credit, market and operational risk advice and support to different business teams on new products or business;
-Preparing routine credit control and risk management reports;
-Building strong relationships with frontline managers to have risk discussions and facilitate risk management framework implementation;
-Carrying out monitoring activities to ensure that key control guidelines, risk parameters, policies and processes are being followed;
Compliance & Internal Control
-As a member of the Compliance & Risk function, communicate the strategic intent and collective agenda for the function, and participate in related activities;
-Actively participate in task under the function, which may include task related to Compliance & Internal control, Company Secretary & Legal issue;
-Ensure business activities are in compliance with applicable internal policies, and external laws and regulations;
Requirements:
-Bachelor’s degree in Risk Management/ Legal / Finance / Business Administration or related disciplines;
-At least 4-5 years relevant experience in investment banks or securities brokerage firms with focus in Credit Risk preferred;
-Proficient in MS Office, including Word & Excel, Chinese word processing is required;
-Strong interpersonal, communication and organization skills;
-Responsible, reliable, tactful, with pleasant personality, good attitude and disposition;
-Excellent command of spoken and written English, Chinese and able to communicate in a trilingual environment especially in Mandarin
