Main Duties and Responsibilities:
•To conduct the main local marketing activities and social media promotion mainly within China, Japan and Korea, also some other areas within APAC. Work with different local agents and vendors
•To provide marketing management for IET academic products and services
•To create marketing content including case studies, white papers, collateral, and email campaigns
•Report on findings of analysis to sales and marketing teams
•To ensure that marketing content and messages align with global marketing strategy and objectives
•To carry out marketing activity to time and budget report on campaign success
•To maintain an awareness of the publishing market and provide market intelligence
•To ensure the IET corporate identity and brand is adhered in all marketing materials
•To ensure all copyright and data protection issues are checked
•Undertake any other duties and projects at the request of the line manager
Requirements:
• Degree holder or above (Preferred in Communications, Marketing, Engineering, Physics, and related majors)
• Excellent written in both English and Chinese, fluent in English and Mandarin
• 5+ years’ experience in producing marketing plans
• Thorough understanding of customer segmentation and target marketing principles and practices
• Thorough knowledge of developing and driving marketing campaigns using appropriate marketing channels
• Excellent knowledge of digital marketing techniques and channels, including social media and online marketing
• Thorough understanding of marketing metrics and analytics
• Strong ability to think commercially and innovatively
• Excellent interpersonal skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with people at all levels
• Ability to build successful relationships and manage stakeholders, internally and externally and at all levels of the organisation
