- Beyond Ventures is a Hong Kong-based venture capital fund established by eGarden Ventures in partnership with locally-grown serial entrepreneurs. eGarden Ventures is a venture capital fund focused on TMT and holds an 20-year investment track record in mainland China. The fund is also supported by leading investment company Hony Capital, which manages more than US$10 billion in assets. Adopting the slogan “From Hong Kong For Hong Kong”, Beyond Ventures seeks to revitalise Hong Kong’s innovation ecosystem by bringing experienced venture and private equity funds together with successful entrepreneurs able to provide start-ups with mentoring support. (I) Job Descriptions:
1. Participating in researching, identifying and sourcing new deal flow;
2. Conducting market researches and analysis on the industry and technology trends;
3. Meeting potential start-ups and its competitors and provide valued comments;
4. Due diligence on new investments including market researches, competitive analysis, and financial modelling;
5. Preparing presentations and investment memos for Investment Committee;
6. Supporting/preparing documentation for financial reporting and external audits;
7. Consulting/supporting portfolio companies if needed;
8. Perform other ad-hoc tasks as required.
(I) 崗位職責：
1. 積極參與市場研究、趨勢識別及發掘潛在投資項目；
2. 對擬投資項目進行市場調查，分析對應行業賽道及最新科技發展情況；
3. 與潛在擬投新創公司負責人及其競爭對手洽談，並提供具價值投資建議；
4. 按公司要求進行業務盡職調查，構建投資及財務模型，進行估值和回報分析，並在日常會議上進行闡述；
5. 準備投資建議簡報、投資備忘錄等相關文件予投資委員會；
6. 為公司年度財務報告及外部核數提供所需項目資料；
7. 如有需要為旗下所投公司提供支援及意見；
8. 根據需要執行其他臨時任務。
(II) Qualifications & Requirements:
1. Bachelor Degree or above, preferably major in Finance, Economics and Business;
2. At least 1-year relevant working experience in finance industry;
3. Looking for a fast-paced work environment in a venture capital firm;
4. Analytical, humble and pragmatic person with a can-do attitude;
5. Motivated self-starter with ability to work well in a tough environment;
6. Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work well in a small team;
7. Strong critical thinking and analytical skills;
8. Good command of spoken English, Cantonese & Mandarin;
9. Good command of written English and Chinese.
(II) 任職資格：
1. 大學本科畢業或以上，財務、經濟及工商管理專業尤佳；
2. 最少1年金融行業相關工作經驗；
3. 能適應風投公司節奏明快的工作環境；
4. 善於分析，謙虛務實，工作具彈性並以完成目標為己任；
5. 態度積極進取，有能力面對壓力較高的工作環境；
6. 良好人際關係及樂於跟團隊合作；
7. 獨到的批判思維及分析能力；
8. 良好英語、廣東話及普通話口語能力；
9. 出色的中英文書寫能力。
